Nantwich Town 2 King's Lynn Town 1
Saturday 14th February
The Dabbers presented new manager Phil Parkinson with three points to help ease their relegation fears but Lynn were left to rue their missed chances in an improved display.
The home side dominated possession in the early exchanges as Lynn took time to settle but they began to create chances of their own with Ross Watson shooting over the bar and then Ryan Fryatt just failing to connect onto a David Bell corner.
Jackson Ramm and Steve Spriggs then combined but the latter's angled drive went just wide.
The home side took the lead against the run of play on 39 minutes when Matty Kosylo latched onto a long ball and outpaced Henry Eze and Fryatt to put the ball past Alex Street.
A bright start for the visitors was rewarded on 62 minutes when Fryatt headed home Bell's delivery.
Lynn went for the winner with an Eze shot hitting both posts and Gregg Smith having a shot cleared off the line.
All the good work was undone when a poor delivery from a Bell free kick allowed Steve Jones to race through to beat Street with a curling finish.
