Lynn got a deserved league point after three defeats and possibly deserved all three on their first visit to the EBB Stadium, Aldershot.
Manager Ian Culverhouse made one change to Saturday's line-up with Tai Fleming coming in for Simeon Jackson.
The opening ten minutes favoured the home side with centres from Killian Colombie creating opportunities but Theo Richardson wasn't really tested.
Lynn came more into the game with Cameron King influential. His cross to Michael Gash on twelve minutes saw Lewis Kinsella's high foot find the big striker's head but appeals for a penalty were waved away.
Another King move set Tyler Denton away but his ball in saw Michael Clunan volley over.
Lynn went behind on 31 minutes against the run of play. Former Lynn transfer target Ricky Miller curled in a brilliant strike that should have been prevented had the Lynn defence closed him down.
The Linnets response saw Sonny Carey's hopeful effort from distance curl wide and a King effort soon after had the same fate.
Referee Matthew Russell declined two further penalty appeals, both from the Shots, as the half drew to a close with Lynn unlucky to be trailing.
Aldershot had the edge in the early stages of the second half as they had in the first, Toby Edser volleying over with Clunan replying for Lynn with another off target effort.
The introduction of Alex Kiwomya and Michael Gyasi paid dividends within two minutes. The two substitutes linked up and Kiwomya's square ball to Gash set him up for a simple finish.
Soon after a Lynn corner saw Gash nod on to Elkan Baggott who volleyed over and with 13 minutes remaining a Lynn break from an Aldershot corner saw Denton blast over with just the keeper to beat.
Gash had the final chance with two minutes remaining but his effort produced a good save from Mitch Walker, the rebound being blocked by the body of Kinsella on the line.
