King's Lynn 0 Whitby Town 1
Saturday 25th April 2015
Lynn completed their season with another home defeat although, not for the first time, had they taken their chances the result would have been much different.
David Bell was a late illness call-off whilst Dan Quigley just didn't appear.
Lee Stevenson and Jacek Zielonka both had chances in a scrappy first half which saw Lynn have the bulk of the scoring opportunities, Zielonka hitting the inside of the post in the third minute.
Visiting 'keeper Shane Bland then did well to keep out the efforts of Stevenson and Conor Marshall in a goalless first half.
The deciding goal arrived immediately after the restart with the unmarked James Brown easily heading home at the back post.
Lynn created a couple of chances but lost the confidence they had shown in the first period. Jordan Yong and Zielonka having the best of the chances but both going wide.
