Lynn News' match report:
King's Lynn Town maintained their 100 per cent home start to the new season with Chris Henderson netting a double to sink former Football League outfit Darlington at the Walks.
Henderson was on target with two goals after the break as the Linnets continued their magnificent start to the National League North campaign.
The first opportunity of a feisty encounter came in the 15th minute when Michael Gash saw his header plucked out of the air by Christopher Elliott.
Midway through the first half, Lynn goalkeeper Alex Street was at full-stretch to tip a William Hatfield effort over his woodwork.
The visitors will lucky to remain with 11 men on the pitch in the 27th minute after a reckless challenge by William Hatfield on home skipper Michael Clunan.
Darlington grew into the game as the half wore on and twice in the space of three minutes the visitors were denied an opening goal.
Clunan headed a Joshua Heaton effort off the line before Louis Laing saw his header kept out by the legs of Street.
Lynn took the lead six minutes after the restart as Alfie Payne slipped a pass through for Henderson to score with an intricate finish.
Henderson repeated the feat eight minutes later after running on to Gash's flick-on before applying a deft touch past Elliott.
There was still time for Darlington's Heaton to hit the woodwork with an audacious 60-yard lob while Gash hit the base of the post with a header at the other end.
