John Whitney played about five games for Lynn back in the 2001-2002 season. A very accomplished central defender as I recall but I vaguely remember a serious knee injury accounting for his brief stay with Lynn.

Now in charge of Walsall

Tommy Wright who played for us during the same season is assistant head coach at Barnsley.

Didn't he eventually become assistant to Spearo'? Bit like the 'blind leading the blind'?
