Lynn go with the form book with a 3-1 home win against relegation threatened Marine.

Att. 1059.

Lynn go second in league. Curzon drop to 6th.

Good result that, even if expected.  Good crowd as well.  Looks like the kids for a quid offer has paid off, in terms of numbers.

Such a tight League with just 3 points separating the top 6.   Things may change a little after Tuesday when a few of the top 6 teams play one of their matches in hand.

All set up nicely for us with a very much winnable fixture at Sports next Saturday.  We owe them one.

Hopefully the likes of Margetts and Gold will be available to make the squad.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it's all about ?

No idea about Gold but Margetts could be doubtful. :dontknow:

AL spoke about Jonny Margetts on Radio Norfolk last night and said he should be back for next week

:scarf:

Not according to this post of a couple of weeks ago.   Or did he not really say that ?

Interesting that we are looking to bring in a couple.   What fans have to also realise is it's not a one way Street.

As a successful side sitting 2nd top a few of our players are also getting interest from Clubs higher up the pyramid.   One of which was on the scoresheet for us today.

It's not unusual to see one or two go if another comes in. Clubs are quick to point out to their supporters that they are looking to strengthen their squads, but not so quick to talk about departures that are needed to fund this.

Nice to see AL mention Joe in the LN's article. As the Chairman didn't mention anything in his EDP article today, and with Bal apparently not being seen at the Walks for nearly six weeks, I was beginning to think the new investment had gone Pete Tong!

So, is Margetts still injured or not? If not, why wasn't he in the Squad today? No start for Crane either?  Gold not fit enough to make the bench?

Strange set up today but AL got the job done again.

Great win and without  a recognised striker in the team we should have won 5 one as two easy  shots were missed,it baffles me why he doesn't start Ross Crane he scored a good goal when he came on

Mallard

A belated Birthday present for you Malcolm.  As a matter of interest have you heard any news on the proposed New Supporters Club that was being talked about a few months back?  Did it get off the ground

:scarf: Overheard a conversation and Gold has a leg injury out for? 2 weeks. No wonder we are looking at more strikers there haven't been many games this season when they have both been fit or selected.

Apparently Bal was seen at the Ground yesterday but not in the Directors Box.

I saw the sign written Linnets van today. It looks ok and it's great to see the clubs name getting out and about even if it was only in Morrisons car park picking up the weekend shopping.
Has anyone started a go fund me page yet for the cost of the diesel?
Morrisons have got a really good deal on their Multipacks of Coke at the moment. 😀

Reminds me of the Linnets taxi under the "old" club. It looked good in Lynn colours and advertised the club both in and out of town. You couldn't miss it 🚕

Had some good links with KLFM, with a lot of regular airtime given about what was going on with the team and at the club on a daily basis.

I'll never forget spotting Captain Jack Sparrow by the Southgates roundabout on my way to work 🤣🤣🤣

I've never been the same since 😺

It was a time of close collaboration between them, including "Who's the star in the Linnets car ?" as mentioned above.

It was a phone in competition and the first person to correctly identify the"star" got a couple of free tickets for the next home game.

We've never engaged with KLFM in that way since reforming, which is a shame. All that free coverage for the price of two match tickets. What's not to like ? Over to you Bal and Joe 😉⚽⚽⚽

I think they'd have a big problem engaging with KLFM these days,!    :laughcry:
