George Thomson
« on: November 01, 2015, 01:24:21 PM »
Chester forum thread suggests that due to budget restrictions several players could be leaving. George Thomson one of thse mentioned as likely to go out on loan or to be available for transfer. Rumour has it that he no longer is an integral part of the manager's plans and he did not even make the subs bench yesterday...Would love to see him back with us where he would be appreciated and valued!!

George would make a huge difference to the team - imagine him in the mix with Stevo and Clunan!

Once again did not even make the squad for last night's 3-1win over Kidderminster and they have just signed a 19 year old striker on loan from Everton.

George scored a great goal last night in their 3-2 win over league leaders Nuneaton (for whom Rob Duffy scored again) in front of a crowd in excess of 2700.

And named MOM......George now seems to be really fulfilling his potential.......maybe due to starting regularly which was not the case at Chester.........Would not be at all surprised if FC of Manchester make Chester an offer that they cannot refuse.

And again - another goal and MOM.'a cut above anyone else on either side'...Who knows, George  continues on this run of form, we might eventually get a share of a transfer fee????
