Sorry, for Jackson read Walker.......as I was posting I was thinking of Simeon Jackson and just wondering whether he would have been a better bet as a pre season signing.

He appears to only have 2 goals from 7 for Chelmsford.

I would like to think the attendance would be a lot more than 1100 tomorrow, particularly given the weather forecast.

I can't see The Moors bringing many more than 100, so I just added that to the 1000 regular, all weather, Lynn supporters.

 :scarf:

91 out.  :(

I guess the 100 Moors  supporters that I thought would travel to watch the game was a bit optimistic.

So on to next Saturday with victory now becoming even more important that before. If Gash plays, you've got to say theres a very good chance that he'll score, meaning we'll need at least 2 for us to go into the hat for the next round. Even playing against a team from a lower level, will we still have trouble finding the net in what has probably now become a "must win" game?   :dontknow:

Should be a good one and I would think, weather permitting,  that the attendance will be bigger than today. I'll go for a 1500 (declared) gate.

Today is the first time this season I've left The Walks feeling deflated

Other weeks, we played well, but just couldn't convert our chances when we were on top.

Today, we huffed and puffed but created very little.

Yes Solihull are a decent team, but we just looked laboured today.

The handball/penalty incident today - I shouted as loud as everybody else that it was a penalty, but it will be interesting to see on the highlights if it was a deliberate handball in the area, or the ball was just smashed goalwards and it hit the players arm.

We can all blame the ref, but the lad I stood next to, we agreed on around 80 minutes that the ref had actually had a decent game.

We can't keep blaming officials for results - nobody can be "unlucky" for 40 games a season, same as nobody can be lucky all season - we need to take a look at ourselves.

I agree with the majority, we desperately need a striker who can score regularly - if Joe (or Joseph as the announcer called him) Taylor is the answer, then happy days.......if he isn't we need to act quickly.

Calls for IC to get the bullet are ludicrous, he's the best thing that has happened to Lynn in years and while nobody is untouchable, to give him the boot would be daft

Next Saturday vs Peterborough Sports, I think, is going to be horrible.......I'd take the ****tiest, scrappiest worst game of football ever 1-0 victory at this precise moment in time!!

Very deflating result on a glorious afternoon. On what felt like a day of promise and hope we were again ending with “if only we had a reqonised striker”

All ten of the bottom teams in NL, apart from Barnet who won, lost yesterday.

Of these ten, only 4 have a better GD.
