I see a few in our League are going for a Friday night fixture.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Won't matter what time the kick off is - there will be 3000 less fans than were there today (unfortunately)

That’s the sad thing Walks.   Big numbers will turn up for an FA Cup tie ( not the most attractive opposition) but then for a decent League game the gate reverts back to the die hards.

What can the Club do to attract a regular audience of 2,000
Plus ?

One idea for next season - make the concession ticket price more 'competitive'.

Why is it always about concessions?  There are more full paying customers and they're happy with the admission prices. The club has to survive

If fans don’t start turning up in bigger numbers then the question is how long will SC be prepared/able to keep dipping into his pocket to fund the shortfall ?  Failing that then we will find our own level which top end Step 4/mid table step 3.

Maybe we need to saviour these days at Step 2

When compared with many other clubs at our level? I only raised it as a point of reasonable debate?!

I believe that there are more than a few, post Covid, who have lost the habit of regular attendance but maybe can still be attracted back?

I understand that 'the lights have to be kept on' but there is also a much bigger issue here. Why do not many more local businesses engage with the club, financially? Increased levels of sponsorship income would reduce the obvious need for supporters to disproportionately make up the shortfall?

I make you right Rod.

Firstly, if there are many full paying adults happy to pay the price, then that obviously isn't the issue.

The issues in my humble opinion are:
1. Concessions are so priced they are barely worth the title "concessions".
2. The price for families to attend. I see many occasions where one parent says goodbye to the other parent outside the ground as he/she goes in with the kids. Maybe a family ticket of some sort is needed?

Could it be assumed that he has been keeping the £400,000 loan money in his pocket to dip into, so to speak.
It certainly wasn't all spent while players were on furlough or when funding a section of the Heacham field for training.

I would suggest that money was spent on the futile aim of trying to keep the Club in the National League when Culverhouse left and Widdrington came in.  Why we didn’t do a ‘Dover’  and take what was coming and doing it the cheapest way I really don’t understand.

Then again the Chairman knows best.

On admission price, I assume the £1 "levy" that we were informed was to be added to repay the loan, is still in operation.  :dontknow:
