1-0 win at home to Chorley.   That should do it 👍🏻

What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Congratulations AL and team, NLN status assured. Even if Blyth were to beat both Scunthorpe and Brackley, the fact that Darlington and Farsley have to play each other, with both their goal differences, we are now safe.

Good result tonight that ensures NLN safety, Peterborough's win does the same for them so pressure off both teams for the weekend.  SC can now  start making plans for next season at step 2, would like to think that includes finally addressing some off the off-field areas but experience would probably suggest otherwise.

Great result tonight.

Next season Tony? First question.Full time or part time?

With most of the income being derived from gate receipts, how can we justify a full time squad when gates are below 700 as they were again tonight.

683 tonight. 13 years ago (12th April), Chris Bacon scored in a 1-0 win against Long Buckby at step 5. The gate was 636!

I think you are correct about off field areas, so either way it looks as if someone will have to dig deep again.

Well done to AL and his Lads for keeping us at step 2.

what a cracking result that was and it was good to see some true football being played not just hoofball. Backs to the wall stuff at times but stirring performances all over the pitch but especially Jones in goal who pulled off a superb double save from the penalty kick plus other excellent saves. It was one of those special nights under the lights and with other results and upcoming fixtures means that Lynn wll play at this level next year

SC addressed this issue a couple of weeks back in his EDP article, full-time next season, irrespective of the level we were playing at.  Whether that is appropriate or not isn't really up for debate, SC's club, SC's decision and he has to find a way to make it work.

If the moneys there then why would SC not utilise it all ?  If someone is on the scene ( even from a distance) who is prepared to throw money at it then it would make sense, in the short term.

Have to think though that full time football for a gate of 650 plus does seem rather strange.   Whose benefit is Stephen Cleeve doing it for ?

Great result, but very poor attendance. We do look safe at last, although not a certainty…. bur certainly a cause for real optimism.  I suppose the gate was reduced by it being Champions League night.  Now we’re all asking the same question - Can KLTFC challenge at the top end of the league next season?  As with all clubs in this era, it largely depends on who has the best benefactor.  It’s so important that it’s almost that supporters aren’t cheering a team’s success, but more the benefactors donations, without realising it! That’s a reality that makes it much more difficult these days for a small club to win anything, or even challenge in the way that they did in previous eras…..  COYL!…..
