Just looking through the various Clubs who have got season tickets on sale.

Southport are offering an early bird deal of £169 for an adult.  That works out at just over £7 a game (7.35 ).  How do Clubs afford to offer such attractive prices ?

A combination of higher than average attendances and a professional commercial operation that maximises fund raising opportunities??

Maybe with Joe now being on board, the belief is that such things are not required.

Thats short sighted if someone has ticket and cant make it to a match the club has still got the money

I haven’t seen any admission prices released yet. So I guess season tickets will go on sale then. The trouble with season tickets is it makes it all most impossible to offer any kind of incentives during the season as you are then disadvantaging those that support club in terms of them buying a season ticket.

  Surely the advantage should be given when purchasing said ticket .i.e reduced prices and some sort of discount if displayed when buying refreshments e.g. 10% reduction. It’s marketing but very basic to encourage the cash comes in early.

in last programme of the season it stated that grandstand floor has got to be replaced .Perhaps season ticket price for grandstand  cant be set in case its not open for start of season

Surely this is the time for Mr Cleeve to actually give Season Ticket holders value for money.  Even with with last season's early bird offer for the first time ever they were poor value for money.  Season tickets should come with benefits to those that have stumped up their cash in advance. Take Bromley last season.......15% off any item purchased in the club shop. including shirts, 15% off food and drink purchased within the stadium.  Free admission to all pre season friendlies, Ladies league matches and U/23 games.  Plus 2 free U/11 season tickets for each adult or concession purchased. 

And for goodness sake get rid of the ludicrous £23 Premier seating, to charge that is something Dick Turpin would have been proud of!

In simple terms, will he start treating paying customers as supporters? Don't hold your breath.

I thought season tickets were good value last season (£13 a game) hence buying one for the first time in several seasons. Know of more fans who brought them for the first time as well.

Posh have announced no increase in season ticket price for the coming season.

Here we go again how lve missed this from last July time … let’s analyse every others club ST pricing  .. happy if it’s same as last season but I’ll go in the region of 330 this year

Blu don’t you find it interesting to see which Clubs offer good value for money and give their fans who are prepared to support the Club early doors, a decent deal.

At £13 SC is certainly offering a decent deal.  So no one can use that one against him.  Maybe his pay on the day price needs a bit of a re think.  Then again he has said that fans who just support a winning team are no good to Kings Lynn.  So maybe they should pay through the nose.

By support I  presume he  means attending games, winning or losing.

It's the way of the world. Nothing new there. Winning team, bigger gates. Losing team, smaller gates. You'd think he'd be aware of that.

Bit of a silly thing to say really. Doesn't the Club want the extra few thousand that come through the gates when the Club is on a successful Cup run, and are supporting a winning team?
