Charity match.
« on: May 18, 2024, 10:03:58 PM »
The people I have spoken to about the charity match a couple of weeks ago said they had a great time and it was really enjoyable although the grass could have been cut.
I'm surprised there's not been a lot of information about it.
Has anyone heard how many were there and how much money was raised.
I heard it was a bucket collection and free entry and the buckets going around the ground were filling up nicely,so hopefully those involved were rewarded by a decent amount.

Plants have feelings too.

Should be a decent amount raised for a worthy charity with over 2500 people there.

Credit to the chairman for making the facilities of the Walks available FOC.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Apparently there were four buckets nicely filled.

Say around £600 a bucket (from my own personal past experience of such things).

Good days work. Well done to all involved and the Club for being part of a Community effort.

Indeed, well done to all concerned. Does anyone know the net amount raised for such a worthy charity, after any incidental expenses were deducted?
