Next up ......Buxton
« on: October 24, 2024, 09:07:10 PM »
Do let me know B & G, is the sign at the ground in sync with the website ........I don't really want to be finding fault......but come on guys it's really important that the off pitch stuff matches whats happening on the field of play, especially as it's a full time club. It's Thursday evening, less than 2 days from Leamington at home and the website is two matches behind where it ought to be.

You would hope that when the next Commercial
Person starts in November that he will pull all the departments together under his umbrella and present a more professional image.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Yes, let's hope so. I feel, as many have said,  that there has been a significant improvement on some of the online stuff recently....the Twitter feed for example, so not wanting to be over negative, but something like the next game info, be it on the website or at the ground, is such an easy thing to keep up, but creates such a poor impression if it slips.
Perhaps someone in the club could put it into the rota for being updated at the end of every match....ie within 30 minutes of the final whistle. Ideally anyone leaving The Walks after a home game, who has stayed behind for a post match pint, should be able to look at the board on the way out, see the next fixture and agree with their mates
as they walk away to be there for the next game.

Next match sign at the front of the ground is up to date and has been for a few days now  :scarf:

Very pleased to have received an email this evening inviting me back to The Walks tomorrow.

This is good interaction with fans. Pyramid type marketing theory is important for the likes of Lynn. ....ie although it's important to also look for completely new contacts, pre existing contacts are often the best source of new business.

I also received an emailed invitation but it didn't include a compelling reason to do so.
