  if only we took points from the last 2 games we could have been sitting top of the table, we really should have taken points from theses matches, but we failed. No real damage done at the top of the league however. Onwards and upwards COYL.

Is AL trying to flog the same horses too much?  We have a thin squad and with the amount of injuries we have been getting is it now finding us out.

We simply did not take our chances in the first half......could have been 3 up before they scored a soft goal and then the killer just before halftime.

Forget the good away wins etc, the points dropped at home will cost us a playoff place, for a full time team we looked poor and its not for the first time.

The way the results are going suggests the league is very weak.There isn't a stand out team and the results are all over the place.Lynn should have a major advantage being full time but it is making little difference.The points difference between the top and bottom suggests it's going to be a mass scramble for a play off spot.

A team that were sitting in 2nd position and a special offer on tickets only managed to get 787 there last night.Full time and pumping loads of money into it just ain't working.To me it looks as if the fans are not buying into Cleeve and his ideas.It takes more to run a club than just chucking money at it.

Not really sure why he would mention that.

Many people travel that distance for work everyday. Its not exactly a unique situation.

Was Joe formally introduced to the crowd? Surely the least he deserved for his unstinting financial support in a less than obvious gold standard investment?

For 40 odd years I used to be a regular at the Walks. After TW jumped ship and the disappointment of Kidderminster in the play offs, I’ve only been twice, Scarborough last season and Warrington this.
We got into the National League, somewhat fortunately I think it’s fair to say. Covid curtailed the season and although we were second in the league, having played a game less than York, we had the slightly better PPG. Our form slumped dramatically and our game in hand away at Gloucester was postponed, had that game gone ahead and we lost, it would have been York going up instead.
1st season we finished in what would normally have been a relegation spot, but there were no relegation / promotion from and to the National League. 2nd season, we again finished in a relegation spot, so what was learnt / corrected from the previous season?
It’s certainly a big step up and whether or not Mr Cleeve is ambitious, realistically how could we sustain that level with around 1400 gates, which we were getting.
Someone has said we need to replace Gold. He wasn’t at Fylde and Kidderminster for long, so what does that say. How many goals has he scored this season, not enough for sure.
Listening to the commentary last night, we should have scored, that seems to be the case in several games. We missed an opportunity with not signing Toll, his current record would suggest he is better than Gold.

The admission prices, season ticket prices, matchday experience, and the perception a number of people have with Cleeve probably all contributed to what was a woeful turnout last night. South Shields haven't been great on the pitch this season but I can almost guarantee there'll be 1,700+ there just like there was when we went last season. A club that only 10 years ago were getting circa 150-200 people through the gates. They have a magnificent setup there. We should be getting 1,000+ every week without fail but this club needs to seriously get its act together. Anyway, on to South Shields we go

Last night's results didn't damage us despite our loss and Kidderminster have done us a favour too tonight winning 1-0 at Curzon so could be be worse
