Well if we get radio coverage I wont complain.
Lets face it, if Wroxham can can do it.

What puzzles me ( and in truth it doesn't take much these days). Jo flies in to view the Club he has stuck serious wonga into.  The Club he rescued was about to fold yet SC doesn't even introduce him to the general fan's or the press.

Surely the fans owe Jo big time as does SC as without Jo it was about to fall of a cliff with SC travelling the World looking for people to come onboard and bail the Club and SC out.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it's all about ?

What surprised me is that someone who is so important to the future of The Linnets, had to travel 17 hours by plane and then had to get a Train from London to Lynn!

Why wasn't he picked up from London by a Club representative?

Doesn't the Club have a car or any personnel available these days?

Didn't the Landrover get sold a couple of years back ?

Did anyone see Joe at the game or get introduced?

Or at the very least a motorbike and sidecar?

Perhaps Joe wanted to experience the delights of British Rail in which case he is lucky he didn't chose the Chorley game. Standing room only on the train to Manchester after the game ( should have been 6 carriages and was only 3) and then no trains in or out of Piccadilly ( Manchester) for most of the evening due to a "tresspass" incident.

And why did he stay at Travelodge ? Surely after coming all that way to see the Lynn set-up he'd want to stay in a local hotel. Don't imagine you get room service in a Travelodge.

Perhaps SC has a frequent user discount. Knowing him, he probably charged Joe hotel room price and kept the difference.

At least he seems to exist... maybe. Did anyone actually see him or talk to him ? Perhaps he's an actor...

Anyway, whoever Joe is and wherever the money comes from, SC gives me my football fix and for that I'm very grateful.

Well it's all a bit strange. Not sure whether others agree, but from my perspective one of the reasons the town doesn't buy into the club in a big way is the lack of clarity/transparency. What are the current aims of the club....what are its financial capabilities? Is there any point at all in finishing in a play off position. The gap which exists to the National League means promotion would probably require a whole new squad...can the club afford it ?. It's difficult to get too enthusiastic when there is no obvious plan or end result in mind.

So Joe documented his journey in some detail to the discount hotel...and that's where the trail ended :thanks:
