Linnets drop points in title chase.

Lynn can only managed a draw in their home fixture against Alfreton.

With Curzon winning at home today, they extend their lead at the top of the table.

Kings Lynn 0 - Alfreton 0.

Lynn drop to 4th place, albeit only on goal difference.

Att: 1025.

Good numbers there for a pre. Christmas fixture.  The Chairman can have no complaints about that figure.

Looks like this new reduced pricing offers that are being introduced are paying dividends, in terms of numbers.

I wonder is this down to the new commercial Director who SC told us was joining in November?

:scarf: Only a draw against a big robust team who didn’t want to play football as we know it . Kick and rush, push and pull, time waste, try to fool the ref in getting KLTFC players booked or sent off. We needed a stronger ref and assistants today at times.

Spot on Linnet465. Absolutely agree with your analysis of the match. It was frustrating  and painful to watch in the first half, but we seemed to have the best of the second. It was clear fairly quickly that our opponents were bullies, tried to fool the ref (quite successfully) and they couldn't keep their hands to themselves.

I didn't try to guess the attendance today after recent dramas 😉

But a gate of just over 1000 at this time of year is quite impressive considering all the seasonal pull on people's wallets.  :bankrupt:

Well that about sums the match up and yes they arnt a pretty side to watch but you can’t take it away from them they defended in numbers and were very hard to break down ever time we had the ball we had at least two players on us

Horrible team to watch.  Imagine having to watch that every other week.   However, to play at this level with their limited resources has to be commended.  They find a way.   Every year they are up there  around the play-offs.  No mean feat that.

It’s not pretty but it works for them.
