Always think back to the Super Play Off Final when we play Warrington, what a day that was.
Their current form is second bottom with just 3 goals scored from 6 games, making them one of only four teams that have scored less than us in the last six games. There is our problem at the moment, so stats would suggest that it will be a low scoring game today. Prediction is 1-0, hopefully to us.

With most games being postponed a loss would put us in a difficult situation with teams below having several games in hand. A win is really essential to maintain any pressure on others - but it ought to be achievable. If it isn't...then I suspect we'll be mid-table at best by the end of the season.

Couldn't agree more Doug. Another strange line up. Barnes and Crane on the bench, probably our 2 most creative players. Young Tom Wilson makes one big mistake at Scunny and is dropped. another defensive line up expected? Coulson has not been fit all season, been a good player in the past but now off the pace and should retire at 36 yrs old.
Looks like Hmami is expected to be creator and striker. Glad I didn't travel.
Do we know what the Margetts injury is? He had a thunderous look about him when he was hooked against Needham - is he really injured or has AL fallen out with yet another skilful player?
Press very silent about him?

As I understand it Margetts is missing with a bad knee injury and is not expected back until March.  I’m sure AL will deal with the question in his post match today.    Surprised the Clubs media Dept haven’t dealt with this question.  Then again maybe I’m not

As has been said before, if the Media Department aren't informed about it (maybe it's a secret  :dontknow:), they can't report on it.

I have no idea why the club would choose not to report on it, if true.

But the Press guys who speak to the manager after each game should be asking him the questions about players missing etc, or are they told what questions to ask?

Just listened to AL’s Warrington post match., No mention of Margetts.  Was a Club Media guy asking the questions.

Never mind Media Guys, Managers, Owners, Investors or Supporters. If it doesn't come from  Loopy it isn't true. Loopy's word is gospel.  :oldman"

I don't think our local Press guys were at the game today.
