I did wonder why someone made a return to the forum when the subject of lack of signings was mentioned.

🤭

Maybe if he’s not going to up to speed for a few weeks then could he be a signing for next season?
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Don't know much about Warburton but decent goal record at a good level so look forward to watching him.

Next time I stay away from the forum, I'll check with your good self if it's ok to return. Nice to know you care though.

Now the club has dished out the dough on him let’s hope he rises to the occasion and earns his bread!

 :thanks:

You've been away?

No need to ask. You're free to come and go as you like, and post your opinions. Be careful with that one though, as others tend to have opinions of their own.

Care? I don't really care if you post on here or not. That's entirely your choice.

Goal wise for Warburton. I think its 5 out of last 20.

From the Moors website:

"The attacking midfielder has made 16 appearances so far this term, scoring once in league action "

Well I hope this turns out to be a good signing.

At the moment it seems a bit of a desperate one. Missed out on a few, for whatever reason (probably money, primarily) couldn't get a decent striker in and felt they had to get someone in. But if the guy isn't match ready and isn't a regular goalscorer, does that fit the current remit ?

Hello Kitty.

Pink, Warburton wasn’t AL’s first choice as it seems a few turned us down before we got to him.  Just feel we needed a 9 not another 10.   However it has to be more of beggars can’t be choosers.  So think we should be grateful we have got somebody in.

In fairness the guy can’t be as bad as what AL’s other two signings have been in Gold and Williams.  I just very much hope Lakeland has got this one right.  I guess when he’s up to speed we will find out.

:comeon: Was Gold SC’ s influence when signing. Think most sighed with a not again after reading the news. Still think we should move the training centre closer to Manchester and sign players who will treat KL as an away game. We are too far south for a northern league and any “local” players would probably prefer the option of playing in the northern leagues counterpart.

Could well be the case.   :dontknow:

If so, I can understand AL's apparent frustration during some of his post match interviews.
