Mossley AFC can confirm the departure of Bailey Marsden from Seel Park, with the midfielder joining National League North side Kings Lynn FC for an undisclosed fee.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Bailey for his dedication and contributions in a Lilywhite shirt for the last four years – Bailey has represented the Lilywhites 100 times, scoring 7 goals in the process. He recently marked his century with another man-of-the-match performance in last weekend’s 2-1 win at Nantwich Town.

From making his debut in the FA Cup as a substitute against Lower Breck FC, Bailey has gone from strength to strength and has consistently been a standout performer for the Lilywhites, especially this season. After a season-long lay-off through injury last term, Bailey marked his return to the side this season by scoring a goal, making an assist and netting in the penalty shoot-out in our FA Cup triumph at Whitby – a game that will live long in the memories of Lilywhites fans.

As Bailey embarks on the next chapter of his footballing career, we wish him nothing but success and happiness in all that lies ahead, both on and off the pitch. On behalf of everyone at the Club – staff, teammates, volunteers and supporters – we want to say a huge thank you for everything. You’ll always be a part of the Lilywhites family and you’ll always be welcomed back to Seel Park with open arms.

Thank you and good luck, Bailey!
