Three more points on the Road
« on: April 12, 2025, 05:33:03 PM »
The needed 3 points gained today makes for an exciting finale in the last 3 games.  I can see two wins getting us 7th

Can see Hereford and Buxton missiing out on the play offs  along with Spennymooor whose defeat today could cost them.  Though they do have a day at Wembley to look forward to v Tommy Widdler’s Aldershot in the Trophy final.  Shots got stuffed 7-2 today so maybe they have one eye on Wembley.

A good 3 points away but how come F C where allowed to play in this league when they didn’t have a ground to play on surely they should have been kicked out the league

Farsley were going to have an artificial pitch but there were unforeseen problems that were so great that they are now going back to grass.

Nemisis, I knew the reason, I just wondered why somebody should query their status in the league. Having to groundshare happens from time to time eg Gloucester when their ground got flooded. I think we played them at Forest Green's ground.

I also seem to remember Gloucester ground sharing with Evesham Utd a few seasons ago. If memory serves me correctly we arrived there for a Monday evening game only to find out it  had been postponed 15 minutes earlier due to a waterlogged pitch! Those were the days!
