Hopefully something will be sorted. As AL and most players he signed have been northern based to cut costs why not move the training base up north and use players who live close to Manchester surely there must be more players in that region that would fit our needs. Hopefully a suitable training base can be found up there and the squad travels down for home matches. This could cut some costs such as overnight stays for northern matches etc.
I do hope the trust will not be persuaded to throw any money that they have into a sinking ship. Do they know this "Bal" I hope they are very carefull.
Reading all the responses on here is very interesting and nothing shows how fickle supporters can be. About 6 weeks ago many were complaining about AL and his style of football, notwithstanding the improvements he has made, now supporters are singing his praises and hoping he stays. All season supporters have been questioning how the club can afford full time football, overnight stays etc, now when something is being done to address the situation they are still moaning.Hopefully the meeting on Thursday will set the club's stall out for the future, but no doubt whatever happens let's hope the club continues although no doubt it will all be the Trust's fault, and no I am not a Trust member.
