Think he'll call it for what it is.  Poor day with lack of discipline.
The Chorley Manager's interview was interesting.  He didn't think they were at their best.  Bit leggy after Saturday.  Gave Lynn Credit for making a decent fist of it at 1-0 and down to 10 men.
The 2nd sending off sealed the game.

He also went onto say Lynn players were well fired up from the off.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it's all about ?

J R's usual post match interview could be an interesting one.

His post match interviews wind me up!!

I think he's a talented manager and I'm certainly enjoying watching us this season, but his interviews after matches come across as a bit baffling and always commenting on the officials.

Maybe he's too emotional and needs longer to process the match rather than have a microphone in his face within an hour of the final whistle??

Anyway, it's still a decent start to the season - Chorley away is always tricky - lets move on and hopefully get our first home win of the season on Saturday vs Merthyr

Maybe Bal will have a quiet word with his employee.

I presume its the Club that will be picking up all these fines, and not the individuals?   :dontknow:

He certainly likes to put a positive spin on things even a 4-0 defeat.  Plus he does like to lay it in a bit thick with 'it's the officials fault'.   He does tend to get the attention of the officials with his theatricals on the touchline.  Then again so did a certain Steve Evans.  Not sure if it does the team or indeed the Club any favour's. Not to mention his blood pressure.

:scarf:Isn't it strange last seasons goalkeeper who was glued to the goal line was criticised for that style of play, now a more mobile goalie is criticised for that style of play. On Saturday that striker free on goal would  have probably scored against most goalies it wasn't LC's fault. I haven't seen highlights from Mondays debacle so cannot comment on that.
My feeling is that LC is the new style of goalie like it or hate it.This allows a team to build attacks quicker and it gives an extra defender when necessary. Just watch the matches on the Television.

I would guess that he's been instructed to play that way, so it's a shame that he takes the blame if they get caught out.

Having now seen the highlights I think the first sending off was really harsh...and the second was also dubious but more understandable and probably wouldn't have happened had the referee not made the first decision. I hope the Club appeals against the first at least.
