TW leaves Aldershot.

Any vacant Managers jobs around at the moment?

 :dontknow:

Not to worry. I don't think the Club have the required funds to support the kind of salary he (and his son) would command at the moment.

That's unless Trust funds are moved across before the transfer of the shares.

Can't see how Trust funds can be 'moved' without the transfer of the shares.  Personally would have thought this would have happened already so not sure what is holding up the full transfer of shares to TSI/Trust.

With or without the money from the Trust, I can't see us being able to fund TW and all that would come with his appointment.  That purple patch leading up to and including Doncaster was some of the best football I have seen at the Walks but realistically TW's tenure was part of SC's unrealistic spending spree, the consequences of which the club is still living with today, although whether all the lessons that should have been learnt have been is perhaps open to debate.

A question more people need to ask!

Is "nothing to report" really a good enough answer"?

TW has not been a well man so that could be one reason for him leaving The other could be a new job in the North East.  Hartlepool sacked Simon Grayson yesterday.  Think Widdler played at Pools for a while and he certainly originates from up that way.

We know contracts don't mean much to him.  With Tommy gone I wonder where that will leave the fruit of his loins?  Theo isn't that popular amongst Shots fans
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it's all about ?

And will Barrett want to stay there now?

That's where he has gone. Probably wants to retire by the sea. At least it's a bit farther away from Lynn. Hugo Langton has left Aldershot....Lynn bound ?

Mallard

Eastbourne it is.  Aldershot Chairman comment that it's in the hands of the Solicitors.   Reap what you sow, springs to mind.

I wonder if Tommy going to Eastbourne is anything to do with a Documentary being made called 'Owning Eastbourne' ?

I think a similar thing at King's Lynn would make riveting viewing.  The relationship between the new regime and SC would making such interesting watching.

Who knows 🤷♂️😉

Wasn't this one of Cleeves plans from years ago? I seem to remember it being mentioned in the early days.

Maybe he could use his position at the Club to organise this and reduce the Legacy debt.

If fact, if he earned that much from it he could afford to repay Jo and retain ownership of the Club.

I understood that Cleve's been trying to do exactly that and it's the reason he's still hanging around...to help the club 🙄 ...or is it to help his wallet ?

But if I were Bal/Jo I'd give him a P45 and sling his ar*e down the road.

Where is your dignity man ? Just sign whatever you need to sign, let the club issue a statement to say you're officially out and then you can sit in the posh seats as just another punter. If you must.

If Cleeve is still actively involved, as you suggest Upstone then where does that leave the Trust ?  Think they have said on numerous occasions that they won't be involved at the Club while SC is still there.

Is someone trying to bang both ends against the middle ?

From what I understand, he has absolutely nothing to do with any of the club's functions ⛔

Just this crazy idea for a TV show about the club, that he's had some discussions with a company about 😯

But with the Eastbourne series about to start, I think it's highly likely that the market will soon become saturated 🙁

And of course these shows all have someone "famous" involved, not someone like Cleeve whose fame exists only in his own head.

It's just another desperate attempt to stay relevant...
