There's some anti Culverhouse feelings being expressed by St Alban's fans on social media, with some calling for him to be got rid of.

I guess the timing could be right on all fronts.

Not sure on this one myself. I wouldn't like to be pushed on which way it will go.

If he's definitely coming back to the Walks, let's hope Bal has got it right this time. Success or failure is on his shoulders.

Think if Cully is returning the fans to a man should get behind him and remember the two promotions we enjoyed under his stewardship.  All done on a part t time team basis.

I think Bal will have got one right.  He was due one.

Why do clubs think ex-pro players will make good managers? They usually don't.  Gerrard, Rooney, Neville, and countless others prove otherwise.  Screaming from the touchline, pointing in all directions, and swigging water every ten minutes have no effect on team performance!  Culverhouse hasn't been successful anywhere else.  A man, or woman, with a good contact list with money available is who we have to find.

Money!

I think all Managers would like it and a majority NEED it.

I wonder if there's been any changes to the budget if Cully does agree to join us.   :dontknow:

Dilly I think you will find Culverhouse got Boston promoted out of The NLN. So a decent CV for step 2.

I agree re ex top level players. You can add Shearer to your list but there are exceptions....Lampard to name but one.

I think the antics of coaches gesticulating and shouting from their technical areas, very much reflects the modern world where often style is put ahead of substance and particularly at the top level with crowd noise, there is little or no chance of their players hearing them?

Purely posing for the cameras.

Do you think another manager will be bringing their own spending money?

I enjoy and respect all posters on here because we're all trying to improve the club.  I don't understand, however, why people think we have a dressing room full of talent.  I feel we merely have a team full of triers.  They are aggressive and hard-working triers, but will always be having to try their guts out to scratch occasional wins, instead of being better than the opposing team, which is the key!

:scarf: I remember the newly appointed manager saying something like promotion isn't promised nothin* is guaranteed but there will be open attacking football. This is what we have, unfortunately we seem to end up losing to often.
Keep the faith enjoy what we have and hope we take an upturn
