Cully's new era commences with a 0-0 away draw with Southport.

Att: 961

Which team would be happiest with that result?

Or would both view it as a success?
Question everything!

Southport would be the least happiest, as being at home and sitting bottom, needing the points would have hoped for a win against an out of form Lynn.
We have to take a positive from today, that being not conceding. Not losing away is always decent and something to build on for Tuesday at home when hopefully, we will get a win against Leamington.

As Cully said it's a start.  Interesting interview about how fragile the players are.

Then again hardly surprising after the time it took to get someone in.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it's all about ?

Well at least we came away with a draw and a clean sheet so that's a good start but we have got to start and put away our chances,Gold missed two chances that is confidence

Decent start. Clean sheet . Good point. Even better if we win on Tuesday. Cully  on a winner . If we win he's great ... lose it's not his team . Time will tell ...

Culverhouse is going to need a bit of money to save us this year. Forget the playoffs .he'll need a bit of money to do that just like any other manager will.I cant understand what all the faffing about with the Trust money is and why they just cant give it to the club in a time of need and sort the shares out later on.If its going to be a relationship built on trust whats the problem. If the members asked for a vote for the money to be moved over straight away I' sure it would go in favour of the money going there now and not when its too late.Just get on with it!

He might need a bit of money though that should be available as the squad seems somewhat tighter than the start of the season with players out on loan the odd one having left.

I'm sure if Rowe could get a tune out of this group then for sure Culverhouse will.  Big thing seems to be the confidence factor.  Rowe had a team on a high while Culverhouse has inherited a team on the floor.

We all know why that is.

At least he's spotted that there is no fluidity in midfield, and therefore a dearth of opportunities for the front men.  Then he says that's what he must address.  Thing is, do we have the players, the type of players, to address it?  Personally, I doubt it, but I wish him luck...

Because, quite simply, the Trust is governed by a set of rules and that isn't what was put to the membership in the vote.  I can understand your frustration but the Trust reacted quickly to the proposal by the club arranging the vote, which I think raised expectations that the share transfer was imminent, that appears not to have been the case.  Why would you think the club is in 'a time of need'?

If it is a relationship built on trust then presumably the club have told the Trust directors what the hold up is and for whatever reason (and there could be many) the Trust board have not seen fit to come back to the membership with anything along the lines of your proposal so maybe we are not anywhere near the 'too late' stage as you seem to think we are

Just out of interest, are you a Trust member?

Still on the wind up, Windy ?

Ok, let's pretend you're being serious for five seconds.

It won't happen because:

1/ The money wouldn't keep the club in bog rolls for a week.

2/ No one with any sense would hand money over without the corresponding shares.

3/ With my serious face on---pretty sure it's also against the constitution of the Trust without an EGM.

4/ Loads of other reasons that I'm sure other people will think of.

Plus I know who you are, my friend 😺 And you've just gone 🐠🐟🐠🐟🐟🐠 🎣
