Maybe, just maybe Jo and his side kick Bal have decided it's not worth all the hassle of taking over the shares therefore no point in asking the Trust for money as they don't need it now after all.

The idea is to run the business without having a benefactor propping it up, so just start as you mean to go on.  This full time mark isn't really working for Lynn.  Other full time Clubs are  sitting in the top 6.  I bet Bal's monthly report to Jo on the state of the party must making for some interesting reading

We all know why that is.

The last league game win for Rowe was August 30th against a team that spent 7 hours on the bus and arrived late. Did he really leave a team 'on a high'?

Cully didn't use the word high or low to describe his team, but the terms he used and the point he was making was as good as.

Followed by a narrow lose to Kiddy. A point on the road at both Alfreton and Marine.  Tearing Chesham apart in the Cup.   Then a few days after he went sticking one into Royston.  So yeah on a high I would have said.

I don't think anyone can deny that the uncertainty surrounding the appointment of a new Manager has cost us big time. Not a very good decision to allow it to drag on so long, but I guess there must have been some logical reason that we are not party to, as to why it did.

Cully's returned now, so onward's and upwards. He gave a very clear description of the state of the team. If anyone can change that for the positive in a very short period of time, then I've every confidence it will be him.

After Tuesdays game, I'm sure he will 100% know what he's dealing with and what he needs to do, so presumably we'll see some in's and outs.

Good luck for tomorrow night.

Cully dug Cleeve out of a hole after the Clark appointment.  Looks very much like he is having to do the same thing yet again.

so why can't they have a egm to ask the fans to vote for the money to be given over now.if Bal said that's what he wanted the fans would back him and it would all be over and done with

Me Mum used to say "people who say I want, don't get". Wise words indeed  :countingmoney:

In fairness with an offer of a low single digit share holding for the Trust they are giving their money anyway. So next to no difference in handing it over for nothing now.

Why would the trust hand over any money £30000 or £60000 for "a foot in the door" and be offered such a small percentage of the shares. Then whatever say  they had would make no difference. The money would be swallowed up and they would be left a percentage of nothing.

What I don't believe has been considered is what happens when Jo calls time and sells his majority stake to someone else.

Once the deal has been done it will be so easy for Jo or any new owner to get the Trust out, unless they had a bottomless pot of money (which they don't). So it's not just a case of them having a % of nothing, they could very easily have no % at all, and after having put all their members money into the Club.

What also needs to be remembered is that it doesn't really matter what Bal's intentions are, as he's only an employee (I understand an employee of Jo's TSI, and not the Club). So the personal friendships that have developed between Bal and certain people on the Trust committee could all be worthless in an instant if he moves on, or if Jo has a change of heart, or if circumstances dictate that he has to walk away from the Club.
