I don't believe this someone is attuly listening to what I said in a reasont post when I said a friend off mine said we should ring Mansfield town has they have players that could help us out and low and behold we have signed two players from Mansfield, thanks Bill I will keep you informed how they get on

Two extra bodies is to be welcomed albeit I think most of us would have preferred at least one of the additions to have a bit more experience.  Hopefully Goodman will go straight into the starting line up as Sealey has been running on empty since Boxing Day, it was basically asking too much of a young player to play up top on his own in a struggling side.

Assuming Crane will be suspended for tomorrow and no more news on Toll/Marriot but can't throw either of them straight in after longish layoffs so I hope IC sticks with the back three and goes with something like:

Jones
Wilson, Doherty, Dickens
RHJ, Clunan, Williams, Troso
Lambert, Davis
Goodman

Troso, Davis and Goodman playing together could be quite the trio. Hope I get to see that at tomorrows match.

I wonder if Bal or any of his inner circle are aware of Dom Dwyer and his Lynn connections. He may well be unavailable / unaffordable but he is a proven experienced striker who has spent most of this season as a Mansfield substitute. Worth a mention?

Dom Dwyer is 36 years old in a few months and apparently has suffered from a lot of niggly injuries in recent times do we really need another Marriott. Im sure IC and Joe Simpson have done there homework and lets hope both of the new boys hit the ground running.

Dwyer must be one of the few still playing who could feasibly still end up representing both old and new Lynn clubs. Doesn't that makes us all feel old!

On the subject of the new signings. When we were in a relegation battle and in need of goals in Jan 2024 we brought in Jonny Margetts. How times have changed.
