I was at last nights home game (Worksop) and told there will be a coach for the Macclesfield FC away game.

When it goes on sale tickets will be available here

https://kingslynntownfc.ktckts.com/brand/travel

I'd think somewhere between £25-£30.

If using public transport best price I could find was bus and 3 trains at £56.10 return (without railcard).

I'll post more info nearer the time as normal, but will keep checking and post again once I see the coach tickets on sale.

Here's the normal AI generated places to drink / eat before the match (and websites it found the info)

Macclesfield away this weekend. You'll be heading to the Leasing.com Stadium (London Road, Macclesfield, SK11 7SP). ([Macclesfield FC – How to find us][1])

TL;DR plan

* Coach crew: likely arrive around 13:45 (9:45 + ~3h15 + ~45min stop) → head straight for Bar Twenty Seven at the ground (food + pints) or jump into town for a "proper pub". ([Food at Bar 27][2])
* Drivers: stadium car park exists but limited (behind South Stand) so assume street parking around the ground or use a town centre car park then taxi/walk. ([Macclesfield FC – How to find us][1]) ([Cheshire East car parks list][3])
* Tickets (league): Adult £19 seated / £18 standing; Concession £15 / £14; Student £12 / £11; U18 £9 / £8; U12 £4 / £3.50. ([Macclesfield FC ticket prices 2025/26][4])

---

Pubs (best options)

At/next to the ground

* Bar Twenty Seven (at the stadium) – easiest for big groups; kitchen listed as 4–9pm Mon–Fri and bar open late; great if we're tight for time. ([Food at Bar 27][2])

Town centre (better "away day" pubs)
(~5 mins in a taxi from the ground, or a longer walk)

* The Castle – top-class real ale pub with a historic interior; food served daily (note: CAMRA says no hot food Mon–Wed). ([CAMRA – The Castle][5])
* The Fountain (Park Green) – handy central spot with food listed 9am–9pm daily (Sun to 6pm). ([The Fountain – Park Green][6])
* The Dolphin – community pub with cask ale and pub games; good shout if you want something traditional. ([Robinsons – The Dolphin][7])

---

Something to eat (quick + easy)

* Bar Twenty Seven – the simplest "arrive → eat → drink → turnstiles" option. ([Food at Bar 27][2])
* The Fountain – long food hours listed (good if you arrive early). ([The Fountain – Park Green][6])
* The Castle – good food reputation but watch the Mon–Wed hot food note. ([CAMRA – The Castle][5])

---

Drivers: parking

* At the ground: Macclesfield say they do have a car park behind the South Stand, but spaces are limited. They also say there's roadside parking nearby (park considerately). ([Macclesfield FC – How to find us][1])
* Town centre car parks: Cheshire East Council list multiple Macclesfield car parks (locations + prices), useful if you'd rather park up centrally then taxi/walk. ([Cheshire East car parks list][3])

Tip for drivers: if you're doing the "town pub first" plan, park in a council car park (easier), have a couple in town, then grab a short taxi to the ground.

Ground address

* Leasing.com Stadium, London Road, Macclesfield, SK11 7SP. ([Macclesfield FC – How to find us][1])

Lynn will be without Jack Goodman and Taylor Anderson who have returned to Mansfield Town following their one-month loans.
Meanwhile,  Will Van Lier has joined Kettering Town on a one-month loan.
You don't know what you've got 'til it's gone

I'm hoping for a signing or two announced in the morning before tomorrow game.

:sinking: Unless we can start scoring goals the future is looking bleak. Currently we are the 4th worst team at scoring goals

I was there - bad day at the office - lets move on to Tuesday night away to Buxton (maybe pick up a point) and then a must win game at home on Saturday against Oxford City!

Coastal linnet

The problem yesterday was conceding goals. A total capitulation in the second half. After the last game IC
said they needed to find a way of winning on a boggy pitch; now they need a way of performing well on an artificial pitch. IC accepted the blame for selecting the wrong team. What did he mean? Surely, Tuesday night will be the same players. Definite case of men v boys yesterday. Macclesfield are a part time team who train twice a week! once since their Fa cup game last Monday. The "men" in the Lynn team didn't perform that well; for our youngsters I thought that Bondo did well.
Nice set up at Macclesfield; youth team? match before the Lynn game and children also having a game as well.

I take it Wilson was injured? Didn't he have an injury to the head against Worksop? I hope he can be back against Buxton if not the must win against Oxford. I can only take heart from the better performances against Alfreton before the 'goal', Southport, Radcliffe and Worksop again before their goal. Somehow we gotta score first!
