Why would the club want a match, that they would probably lose anyway, postponed, when having it rearranged for midweek would result in a gate some  300 lower ?
You don't know what you've got 'til it's gone

And someone who is presumably involved at the club has passed the info on. Who is the club rat ??

Looks photo looks very AI to me. Too many convincing images around - we will soon not be able what to believe

Yes I'm surprised Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor wasn't in the image turning the sprinklers on. Although I think he was at Pizza Express

EDP suggests the club have already responded to the League, who have accepted their explanation.

Like I have said previously on this forum there seems to be people who want the Club with the current owners or whoever has owned the Club in the past to fail. There will always be things that the Club could do better but they also have to walk a financial tightrope and if supporters don't get onboard one day there will be no Club. Whilst some people who have posted on here regularly would probably not care for the majority it would be a disaster to lose a senior football team in the town.
This sprinkler story is just another example of the sad depths some people will go to create division and try to destroy the bond between fans and the Club. Shame on those involved.

The article seems to suggest the sprinkler was in operation on the morning of the inspection so whether the picture is genuine or not is a bit of a moot point.  Would be good if the club could clarify the situation re the league response and maybe if they had been a bit more proactive getting this out the 'story' may not have blown up - the postponement certainly wouldn't have surprised anyone who attended the Worksop game given the state of the pitch after the game and following three days of rain.

What I don't understand is the blame being laid at the whistleblower, whilst their motives can be open to question the real issue must surely be the controls and processes within the club, not who has shone a light on them and for the EDP to say this person is 'endangering jobs' is a heck of a leap.  The club hasn't had a solid off field structure for a number of years, with this just being the latest mis-step and Jo must be wondering what on earth he is throwing his money at.

Sandringham saga, sinkhole, sprinkler! I always thought Norfolk was a quiet county. For anyone who is interested
there is a local football team to follow and support this evening!

Yes let's hope all this doesn't effect the team too much for tonight's game against Buxton.
