Marine 0 King's Lynn 1

Lynn made progress in the FA Trophy with this single goal victory which made amends for the 2-1 defeat in the same
competition back in 1985.
There were few chances in the first half the best of Lynn's falling to Ben Muirhead on five minutes whose effort
was blocked by Shaun Callacher.
Marine came more into the game as the first half progressed and Danny Gay did well to smother the ball at Liam
Rushton's feet as half time approached.
Lynn took the lead on 59 minutes when Gay's long ball upfield found Owen Story who set up Carl Palmer to angle his
shot to the far corner.
Lynn had a chance to put the result beyond doubt some ten minutes later when substitute Kwesi Appiah put the ball
over when well placed having been set up by Story and then Anthony Robinson finished weakly.
Marine introduced Peter Cumiskey as they tried to force a replay but Gay's legs stopped his shot and then Callacher
saw his shot saved by Gay as Lynn hung on to take their place in Monday's draw,

The following minute Woodbridge took the lead through Tom Trevivian poking the ball home from close in.
