General Discussion / Re: Linnets go goal crazy again.

A great atmosphere , way more numbers than last year. 13 goals already this season if that continues we would score more than last season by the midway point with a lower budget and way younger team. Makes you wonder what an earth the money was spent on the last 4 or 5 years. Attacking football, complete change of squad , youth getting a chance , people happy and smiling and cheering the team on, we just need to make sure JR is happy and wants to stay long term. We seen his wife yesterday with his adorable son, we said hello and she spoke to us for a bit and said hello to our son. Seemed approachable and happy to be there .

We thoroughly enjoyed our day again. Atmosphere was loud and fun to hear. Did not catch Merthyr cold at all , they had more than enough time on arrival as I saw them come in at 3 and kick off way after.

Not seen football like this for I can't remember , so many exciting players. We can't make Tuesday but will keep tabs .  Love the passion from the manager and players !!!!!!!!!!!

Mallard yeh thanks we seen the highlights now . It is more of a foul than I first thought. Main doesn't once look at the ball but barges Clunan in the back. The Darlington manager like JR seems to agree the goal is controversial to say the least.

Tennylad you should try and get a word with JR at next home game and tell him your thoughts and advise him. I would pay extra to see that   :laughcry:

Great again to see the attacking football and all of us get behind the team

YtseJam we were saying last night we are looking forward to the highlights as it looked a clear foul on Clunan in the back for the goal they scored . Your posts seem quite negative about individuals and the team. Do you support Kings Lynn?

From what we saw and heard again yesterday we have a younger exciting team and manager who kept trying to win the game until the end. Well done and keep it up Linnets

Chances missed last season ? Christ alive what games were you watching , we barely had a shot.  If it is true what JR says in post match that we had 24 shots on goal. I would love to know the last time we had this many in a home game? Maybe someone far more knowledgeable than my husband and I can let us all know ....

We would rather us play like that every week and not achieve a playoff place. It felt different yesterday , it felt we were constantly attacking

We thoroughly enjoyed the game. So pleasing to see so much attacking football and our supporters right behind the team. The dark cloud and incompetence of Cleeve is long gone. We were just saying on way home win lose or draw playing like that we are in for a great entertaining season.

Agree it is about the future. Even if location works for him and the rumours going around I cannot see us landing someone of Rowe calibre.

I still think someone like Gash might be announced with the new owners communication about budget cuts
