General Discussion / Re: Heart break for away Linnets.
October 22, 2025, 11:22:17 AM
Thanks Dilly, I guess I was thinking more about set ups and substitutions. When changes are needed substitutions appear to be like-for-like. Who else would like to see Gyasi and Kamara given a chance together? Others may disagree, but Kamara looks a good, young prospect to me, but so often seems to be willingly chasing around up front, totally unsupported. He's too young for that imo, and needs someone useful and experienced alongside.

Who can work out how many points we've lost from winning positions this season? I'll bet it's not a lot less than we've actually got.

Is that tactics from the sidelines or in the player's heads?

Wow. Looking at the draw, there are going to be a lot of good Northern based teams in our league, going out in the next round of the FA Cup.

Blue & gold ,
Not quite sure what you mean " by Friday ?"
We had five very welcome volunteers today alongside a regular stalwart in Karl.
Big thanks to Richard for sorting this , allowing me to get on with a 101 little niggling things that needed to be addressed, but this list is never ending !

Great to see. Well done to all who attended.

Cheers Hogie.

The start of a more open, honest and inclusive future? Now that the necessary cloak and dagger stuff of takeover is at an end, let's certainly hope so.

Retained list is out.

These are still under contract: Pat Boyes, Ross Crane, Theo Williams, Paulius Falcao, Tom Wilson, Josh Hmami, Matty Warburton, Fin Whteley, Bailey Marsden and Kyle McFadden.

The club remains in discussions with Paul Jones, Josh Coulson, Freddie Sass, Dylan Crowe, Kian Ronan, Greg Taylor Cameron Forde-Browne, and Finlay Barnes about new deals.

Midfielder Cody Johnson has returned to his parent club, Stockport County, and remains in dialogue with the club regarding an extension of his terms at Edgeley Park.

Leaving: Striker Jonny Margetts is perhaps the most notable departure and joining him out of the exit door are Josh McCammon and Tommy Hughes.

Not a drab affair. It was a very good match with both teams going for it. Lynn had the best of the first half, Brackley the best of the second. A fair result in the end. How can people comment on a match and run it down when they don't attend.

I agree, I thought it was an entertaining game, with both teams going for it, but cancelling each other out.
