Would you rather them fall into a trap and lose their hard earned money, so a few people get to watch 90 minutes of football on a Saturday afternoon at a level higher than the club can afford or at a price they are willing to pay? Either I've  hit a nerve and there has been an attempt to divert from my point, that there is an awful lot of negativity and general grumbling on this forum, or this was a genuine belief that I would like someone to invest "their hard earned money", in a football team without them doing the proper research into a club's finances and overall situation.

I would suggest, that there is little likelihood that someone who had the nous and ability to "earn" £millions would not do their homework. I would also suggest, the last place they would start, if wishing to do a deep dive into the financial status of said club is the fan's forum. Maybe the inherited super rich would simply take a punt on a whim.

On that note, let's hope we don't discourage any famous Hollywood actors. 

I just hope anyone considering investing £1million in this or any other football club, doesn't come for a look on this forum, beforehand. 

Thanks Dilly, I guess I was thinking more about set ups and substitutions. When changes are needed substitutions appear to be like-for-like. Who else would like to see Gyasi and Kamara given a chance together? Others may disagree, but Kamara looks a good, young prospect to me, but so often seems to be willingly chasing around up front, totally unsupported. He's too young for that imo, and needs someone useful and experienced alongside.

Who can work out how many points we've lost from winning positions this season? I'll bet it's not a lot less than we've actually got.

Wow. Looking at the draw, there are going to be a lot of good Northern based teams in our league, going out in the next round of the FA Cup.

Attendance at Chesham on Saturday, given as 492 on the FA website.

Hopefully, new ladies team will get the right backing and local support.
