Hereford FC Away Coach – Saturday 31st October

Supporters' coach travel for the trip to Hereford FC is now available to book.

The coach will leave The Docherty Walks Stadium at 8:30am and tickets are £30.

As with the other away coaches, it will only run if the minimum number of bookings is reached. If that number isn't met, everyone who has booked will receive a full refund.

This one could be a popular trip as well, with Hereford being Paul Caddis' previous club, so hopefully we can get the numbers needed and take a good following down there.

If you are thinking of going, please try to book early rather than waiting until the last minute.

Date: Saturday 31st October
Departure: The Docherty Walks Stadium – 8:30am
Price: £30
Kick-off: 3:00pm

Just giving the Hereford away coach another bump.

We now only need 6 more bookings for the coach to be confirmed, and there are likely only around 10 seats still available in total.

So if you're thinking of making the trip, now would be a good time to get booked on and help get another away coach over the line.

Only 6 more needed — and not many seats left after that.

Hereford Away Coach – CONFIRMED

Good news — the supporters coach to Hereford is now confirmed and will be running.

There are now only 4 seats left, so if you're still thinking of going, it's probably best not to leave it much longer.

Hereford FC away – Saturday 31st October

The supporters coach is confirmed for this one and, when the club last updated, there were only four spaces remaining.

The coach leaves The Docherty Walks Stadium at 8:30am and costs £30.

If any seats are still available:

There is a little extra interest in this one as well, with Hereford being Paul Caddis' previous club.

Hereford play at:

MandM Edgar Street Stadium
Edgar Street
Hereford
HR4 9JU

Kick-off is 3pm. ([1])

The following places to eat/drink and travel information have been generated by AI as usual (and where it found the information).

TL;DR plan

* Coach: departs The Walks at 8:30am.
* Adult tickets: £18.25 terrace / £21 seated in advance. On matchday that rises to £21 / £24. ([2])
* Away section: visiting supporters are normally housed in the Len Weston Stand, with both seating and terracing available. ([3])
* Away bar: Addison's Bar is normally available to visiting supporters and has recently opened from 1pm. ([4])
* Best easy food/pub option: The Imperial Inn – very close to the ground, opens from 9am Saturday and serves food. ([5])
* Best beer option: The Barrels – proper Wye Valley Brewery pub, open from 12 noon. ([6])
* Cheap food option: The Kings Fee Wetherspoons, open from 8am with food all day. ([7])
* Drivers: there is no normal supporter parking at Edgar Street; use one of the large council car parks nearby. ([4])

Tickets

Hereford's current 2026/27 prices are:

Terrace – Advance

* Adult – £18.25
* Concession – £15.75
* U16 – £5. ([2])

Terrace – Matchday

* Adult – £21
* Concession – £19
* U16 – £6.50. ([2])

Seating – Advance

* Adult – £21
* Concession – £18.25
* U16 – £5. ([2])

Seating – Matchday

* Adult – £24
* Concession – £21
* U16 – £6.50. ([2])

So there is a worthwhile saving if you buy before Saturday.

Hereford say buying online is the quickest and easiest option for away supporters, with an e-ticket that can either be printed or shown on your phone. ([8])

Away end

Away supporters are normally housed in part of the Len Weston Stand.

That gives visiting fans a choice between covered terracing and seating. ([3])

Previous visiting clubs have been directed through turnstiles 10 and 11, although it is worth following the signs/stewards on Saturday in case anything has changed for our fixture. ([3])

Edgar Street is currently being operated with segregation for away supporters, so don't expect to be able to wander freely between the home and away areas once inside. ([9])

Food & drink at the ground

There are hot and cold refreshments available within the away section. ([3])

Edgar Street is also cashless for bars, the club shop and ticket office, so make sure you have a card/phone payment available. ([4])

Addison's Bar

This is probably the most useful thing for those travelling on the coach.

Hereford have a dedicated bar called Addison's which is regularly made available to away supporters.

Recent visiting-team information says it opens from around 1pm and serves refreshments. ([4])

So if the coach arrives with an hour or two to spare, the easiest option may simply be:

Addison's Bar → away end → football.

Note that Hereford's main Fan Zone/Radford's setup is generally for home supporters, so Addison's is the safer away-fan option. ([10])

Pubs & food

One of the nice things about Edgar Street is that it is right next to Hereford city centre, so there are plenty of options within walking distance.

The Imperial Inn
31 Widemarsh Street
Hereford
HR4 9EA

Probably the best combination of location + food + drink.

It opens from 9am on Saturdays and serves food and drinks throughout the day. ([5])

Facilities include:

* Food.
* Real ale.
* Live sport.
* Beer garden.
* Plenty of indoor space. ([5])

Being on Widemarsh Street, it is only a short walk from Edgar Street.

The Barrels
69 St Owen Street
Hereford
HR1 2JQ

If good beer is the priority, this is probably the one I'd choose.

It is the former home of Wye Valley Brewery and remains one of Hereford's best-known traditional beer pubs.

It opens 12 noon–11pm and has a large beer garden. ([6])

It doesn't appear to be the place to choose for a full meal, though, so this is more:

good beer → football.

The Kings Fee
49–51 Commercial Road
Hereford
HR1 2BP

Wetherspoons option.

It opens from 8am on Saturdays and serves food until 11pm. ([7])

So if anyone wants cheap lunch + pint without overthinking things, it does the job.

It is also fairly handy for anyone arriving by train.

Beer in Hand
136 Eign Street
Hereford
HR4 0AP

Interesting option for anyone into real ale and cider.

It is an independent micropub with several changing cask beers and usually a very strong cider/perry selection. ([11])

Saturday opening is 1pm–10:30pm. ([11])

One warning: they don't normally serve food on Saturdays, although snacks are available and they allow customers to bring in hot food. ([12])

Parking for drivers

There is no normal supporter parking at Edgar Street. ([4])

The easiest option is one of the council car parks surrounding the stadium and city centre.

A useful one is:

Garrick Multi Storey
Hereford
HR4 9HG

It has 399 spaces. ([13])

Saturday prices are currently:

* Up to 1 hour – £1.70
* Up to 2 hours – £3.40
* Up to 3 hours – £5.20
* Up to 4 hours – £7
* Over 4 hours/up to 24 hours – £8.40. ([13])

There are plenty of other council car parks nearby as well, including Bus Station, Merton Meadow, Union Walk and Venns Close. ([14])

I would avoid trying to find a residential street space right by Edgar Street. The city-centre car parks are close enough that there really isn't much point.

For coach travellers

With the coach leaving The Walks at 8:30am, this is another fairly long one.

I would expect a comfort stop somewhere en route, but as usual the location and timing are down to the coach driver.

Once we arrive, there are two obvious options:

Option 1 – easy

Stay near Edgar Street and use Addison's Bar before heading into the away section.

Option 2 – make a bit more of it

Walk into the city centre for The Imperial, Kings Fee or The Barrels, depending on whether food or beer is the priority.

Because Edgar Street is so central, this is much easier than some of our away grounds where you need a taxi to get anywhere.

For drivers

The ground address is:

MandM Edgar Street Stadium
Edgar Street
Hereford
HR4 9JU

Coming from the east/north, the usual approach is via the M5 → M50 → A417/A438 into Hereford. ([3])

I'd probably go:

1. Head for one of the city-centre council car parks.
2. Food/pint in the centre.
3. Walk to Edgar Street.
4. Kick-off 3pm.
5. Walk back to the car rather than fighting traffic immediately around the stadium.

Train

Hereford railway station is around ¾ mile / 15 minutes' walk from Edgar Street. ([3])

So once you actually reach Hereford, this is a very good ground for train travellers.

The problem from King's Lynn is obviously the long cross-country journey, so with a confirmed coach available this probably isn't the away to make unnecessarily difficult.

Simple coach plan

1. Leave The Walks at 8:30am.
2. Comfort stop somewhere en route.
3. Arrive at Edgar Street around lunchtime/early afternoon, traffic permitting.
4. Addison's if time is tight.
5. Imperial / Barrels / Kings Fee if there is enough time to wander into the centre.
6. Kick-off 3pm.
7. Back on the coach after the game.

Best options at a glance

* Coach: confirmed.
* Departure: The Walks – 8:30am.
* Price: £30.
* Adult terrace ticket: £18.25 advance / £21 matchday.
* Adult seated ticket: £21 advance / £24 matchday.
* Away bar: Addison's.
* Best food/pub: The Imperial.
* Best beer pub: The Barrels.
* Cheap food/pub: The Kings Fee.
* Parking: city-centre council car parks rather than the ground.
* Kick-off: 3pm.

With the coach virtually full and Paul Caddis returning to his previous club, this should hopefully be one of our better away followings of the season.
