Interesting comment that Paul has said about not joining the Trust.  I would have thought many would be keen to part of an organisation that WILL ( subject to approval) will have a stake in the Club they support.

Paul be interested to the reason why and others won't be signing up.  Fully understand if you don't want to disclose the reasons in a public forum, but have to say in both surprised and intrigued as to why.

Apparently the usual number of members a Trust in the UK has, is approx 15% of their Clubs average gate.

Blue and Gold Trust had that for a while when first formed, but for various reasons  the numbers dropped as years went by. As far as members go, they haven't done too badly.

With the Club facing so many problems recently the numbers increased dramatically, and just in time for the vote.

How many will remain as members over the next couple of years, we will have to wait and see.

With all the things Bal would like the Trust to get involved with, will they have enough troops on the ground to be able to deliver?

As the Trust and the FOTL's found out, the actual number of people willing to roll their sleeves up and to do the unglamorous work that actually brings the money in (i.e. not only wanting to become involved with a particular team and watching games) has never been that many.

Maybe now that the Club are supporting the Trusts efforts, the number of people interested in doing such work may increase. Having said that, the FOTL's had full support of the Club and that didn't end too well.

Lots to look forward to, lots to keep an eye on.

No issue with you asking....all I will say is those who need to know the reason do, those who don't need to know don't.

Won't rule out ever joining but won't be happening anytime soon!

But, all I've seen and heard about how the club is being run at the moment is all positive. On & off the pitch.

I would hope that can only improve once the deal is through and the Trust is actively involved.  I'm sure they will bring something to the party.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it's all about ?
