Sad to hear Lynn Ladies are no longer - although they are still on the club website, along with Friends of Linnets.  :banghead;
Hopefully, KLSC FC Women can fly the flag for the town

I must have missed the Club announcing that.

I did wonder why Downham suddenly appeared to have an abundance of players.

"All Season Tickets Include These Great Perks:
Free entry to all Ladies' home matches"

So if the club knew that the ladies' team was packing up, does that mean the season tickets were mis-sold?

Not having a Ladies team with all the goodwill it brings is a big miss (or fail), especially following on from the success of the Lioness's recently.

A Ladies team comes under Community involvement in my book.

Anyone have any idea why this has happened?

It's all on the Club website for people to read.

Yep, all good news.

Nice to hear.

:scarf:

Does anyone know why the previous Manager left?

Going forward, I think we have to ensure that in future  if a Manager leaves,  the entire team doesn't disintegrate as seems to have been the case here (i.e. single point failure).

From Facebook
"A new chapter has opened for me which means my time at Kings lynn Town Ladies has come to an end. I want to say a big thank you to all of the fans and everyone that's stuck by the squad throughout the season as you've been amazing and your support has meant a lot.
I have been offered an amazing opportunity and I will be persuing my career elsewhere.
Best wishes,

Hopefully, new ladies team will get the right backing and local support.

The fact some are talking about the Ladies team is good for the future. Obviously means they'll go and watch them at some point.

Really good that Trust will be involved with this, which I'm sure will go down well with all supporters.

With the Trust now owning part of the Club, like most other supporters, I'm looking forward to even more community engagement. Maybe even in other areas and not just football related.

All in good time.

Good to know you'll be watching both the ladies and men's team going forward.

Making things up just to have a stir again? Its no good hiding behind that name as everyone knows who makes such bitter and twisted comments so will be well aware of your ID.

As a early member and founder of the Trust, I thought you would be celebrating the Trust becoming part owners.

We all know you were a big supporter of the previous Chairman, but the Trust being involved was never going to happen while he was involved. You'll just have to get over it and accept the Blue and Gold Trust are now involved in everything Kings Lynn FC.

Regarding going to the games, which you appear to have some strange fixation about, if you'd like to come and pick me up and take me to the games, help me up and down the stairs in the stand (standing for two hours is not an option these days) please feel free to do so. We could even use a Blue Badge which would save you money on parking costs.

Consider me told off......

I've long accepted the trust being involved. Doesn't mean I'm in any hurry to join (not the only one to share that view!!)

Until next time

Don't worry too much. They may not want you anyway.

Interesting comment that Paul has said about not joining the Trust.  I would have thought many would be keen to part of an organisation that WILL ( subject to approval) will have a stake in the Club they support.

Paul be interested to the reason why and others won't be signing up.  Fully understand if you don't want to disclose the reasons in a public forum, but have to say in both surprised and intrigued as to why.

What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it's all about ?
