It was sad to read the news of the passing of Andy Higgins at just 61 years of age.
Signed in the summer of 1982 from Port Vale the defender's time with Lynn also saw him loaned to Hartlepool. For Lynn he scored eight goals in his 27 appearances before moving on to Rochdale in March 1983 and ending his career in this country with Chester City - moving on to South Africa.
