An obvious succeeder in the making while at Lynn.  I recall the advice on here that “Carey should be put on loan while he  learns the game”!  Sam Kelly wasn’t rated either.  People go on muscle rather than ability for some strange reason!

Xavi, Iniesta and even Messi might well have been rejected by the academy system at the time they were emerging in Barcelona!
