Just all seems very odd
What surprised me is that someone who is so important to the future of The Linnets, had to travel 17 hours by plane and then had to get a Train from London to Lynn! Why wasn't he picked up from London by a Club representative? Doesn't the Club have a car or any personnel available these days?
Well it's all a bit strange. Not sure whether others agree, but from my perspective one of the reasons the town doesn't buy into the club in a big way is the lack of clarity/transparency. What are the current aims of the club....what are its financial capabilities? Is there any point at all in finishing in a play off position. The gap which exists to the National League means promotion would probably require a whole new squad...can the club afford it ?. It's difficult to get too enthusiastic when there is no obvious plan or end result in mind.
