Away day Linnets achieve a superb win against promotion chasing rivals Curzon Ashton.

Curzon 0 v 1 Kings Lynn

Att: 382

I switched off the volume on my phone as I thought we'd lose this one 😾
I wanted to pick my own time to hear the expected bad news 🙀

I just didn't want my day getting worse any earlier than it had to 😿

So imagine my surprise and elation when I found out we'd only gone and beaten them in their own home 😺⚽

"Oh ye of little faith" I hear you cry 😼

But as a Linnet since Oldham 2006 I've learned to take the rough with the smooth 😺

A very good win today, so well done all. Last couple of games were disappointing result wise, so excellent stuff today, clean sheet too. I still think we need a forward, would be interesting to see Toll here, pretty sure he would do ok. Will need to be more clinical in front of goal if we get to the play offs. Well done for today.

I think he's still baffled by the reaction after the Radcliffe match but to me it seems like he has spoken to supporters who have given him a rather negative opinion of the state of the club off the pitch, something of course he can't control, but nevertheless hasn't been around long enough to maybe understand people's thoughts. I don't know, I'm just guessing  :dontknow:

Saturday was a fantastic result and the boys played well. Not too many chances as both sides were pretty resolute and tough to break down so it was always going to be a case of who takes that golden opportunity and fortunately we took ours when it came. Much needed 3 points after recent results and hopefully Saturday we can pick up another 3 points :scarf:
