A good win and 3 points and a great performance from Ross Crane, but the sooner we get striker in the better they are trying very hard to get one in with J M not firing at his best yet

First half was decent, albeit against 10 men and against a team with limited ambition.   2nd we seem to stop playing almost like we had done enough and it was game over.   Oxford scoring then made for a tense final half an hour.

Still 3 points is three points.  As many say it’s all about result at this time of the season.  So hopefully AL won’t be banging on with hard luck stories in the run in.  You get nothing for playing well and getting sod all.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Glad we got that over the line last night. First half we looked OK but second half we made life difficult for ourselves at times.

Great turnout last night as well, though I thought there was more than 1,600 in attendance last night. It does make one wonder if there will be discussions between Cleeve and the commercial guy about admission prices. Not saying that we should put it down to a fiver or even a tenner, but maybe if we really want to get 'bums on seats' we probably need to be charging £15-17 for adults, it's certainly a lot more attractive than £19 at this level (or £22 to sit in the stands!!)

Anyway, another win and back in the play-off places for now. Onto Darlington on Saturday  :bus:

Mall- the “Get nothing for playing well” is a football cliche!  In general, playing well wins games, and not playing well doesn’t.  If we can get a team that plays well we will win more matches!… Shearer and co can have the cliches, The Dillathon knows better!….
