Chester Today

It wasn't Northern grit that beat us today. It was proper football by a team with all the players while we had none. Chester were excellent. They played nippy skilful football throughout.  The first half looked like Barcelona versus Scunthorpe Muckworks. Haven't been for a long while, but I thought Crane looked a player, but virtually no one else.  Crowe and Sass can have another go, but we need a large influx of players, found by a manager who knows that skill and slickness will beat kick and head volleyball every day of the week!  Good luck vs Chorley, but we'll have park the bus and sneak a couple of hooligans on as well and hope for a breakaway and a 90 degree deflection off of a defenders backside for a winner....  But COYL!!!
