Just read the story. Still more unanswered questions. Does this mean a U-turn on Adam Lakeland? What a way to run a football club! The saga goes on…

If Cleeve remains it will just be a stay of execution. What a shambles.

Of course the phone between Cleeve and Lakeland will be red hot this arvo.  Begging the best  Manager in the League to return.  Then of course how can Bal stay and work with a guy who he wanted out of the club.  Would leave his position untenable surely ?

I thought Jo/Bal said just last week they wouldnt work with Cleeve.

What a Soap Opera this is. 😉.   Has the deal with new investor actually been signed off on or is this the latest Cleeve ‘big idea’

What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?

Norwich Paper saying something along lines of unlikely the Trust will now be involved if Cleeve stays, but yes, I'm sure that Bal and Jo said the same thing a few weeks ago.

I'm lost on what sort of control TSI have over the Club or Cleeve. When Lakeland was sacked it was Cleeve that sacked him but it's now being said that he was made to do it by TSI.  :dontknow: How can a majority shareholder be forced into doing something he is against doing, unless these people are Persons with Significant Control (PSC) which apparently Bal/Jo/TSI do not have.

If that is the case, has this control now disappeared? How can TSI exert this kind of control but then apparently have their hand forced when it comes to new money being put into the Club? Or maybe the new deal hinges around TSI being given some of their money back. If so, that shows where their first priority really is.

What exactly is the agreement between TSI and Club/Cleeve? I believe its obvious that it all hinges around the quoted figure of 700k.

Having said that, I can't find any notice of any charge in relation to the 700k against either the Club or Blue and Gold Holdings, and I would be really surprised if Cleeve has given a personal guarantee.

Anybody have any ideas?

I think you will find the threat of not taking over the club or putting money in to pay the bills may have had a hand in the forcing of SC hand to sign the paperwork sacking AL...

Apparently TSI haven't been doing that for a while now.

Exactly my point... turning the tap off to get what they want springs to mind.. Similar with the hand forcing when trying to get James Rowe appointed

I could write a long post about my thoughts and feelings but I'm just too disillusioned at this point to even bother.

I don't know where this club is going, the way its run is a joke, and with a deal seemingly almost complete Cleeve comes in and kamikaze's it and says "Thanks but I've found some money in the biscuit tin and all is well now". Others may wish to breathe a sigh of relief but I for one will continue to be fearful about this club's long-term future.

This club means a lot to me as I'm sure it does to many others but I hate what is being done to it. Oh well, we'll see what next season has in store  :dontknow:

The tap has to be turned off.  It was said Cleeve had gone over the agreed budget what was to stop him spending even more of someone else’s money ?
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it’s all about ?
