NEWS: Goalkeeper Louis Chadwick joins Lynn - King's Lynn Town FC https://share.google/o4fdRSt3Tsd0QOdZ3

I do wonder where that will leave Boyes.   :dontknow:

Does that mean Pat Boyes being shown the door ?  Surely we don’t have the budget to run with 3 keepers

Perhaps Jones is just going to be a coach.

Maybe.

Are there any of the youngster from the Academy ready to make the move up yet?

I've no idea what future stars we have there. Any in particular to keep an eye on?

Playing devils advocate. We have signed a lot of youngsters from the south. A midfielder who’s been injured a lot . A striker who is 35 scored 3 last season. A young lad who’s jumping 2 leagues and Gold . In an ideal world every thing will be great . I have my doubts…. Thoughts?????

Let’s not forget this is a total re-build and it might take a few games into the season for Lynn to find their feet.

We have lost a fair few decent players from last season and brought in a lot of players who we, as supporters know very little about.

I’m still in the camp of a mid table finish is a good result based on a lower budget team that is being quickly put together. Also we have a Manager who has been out of the game for a few years so he also might need to find his feet

Mal, you may well be right about the finishing position but I am much more positive than this time last year both in terms of the direction of travel off the pitch but also the prospects on it in terms of positive, entertaining football.  That isn't to say all of the signings will be a success but I have confidence in JR and even if things do need to be tinkered with mid-season he has that wider range of contacts that has been so obviously lacking in the past two seasons.

If you're thinking of Tyler Key, he has re-signed for Ely City.
Not sure that he is still a Lynn player.

Thanks, although he is still showing on the Clubs website.

Lots of new players, I think it was always going to be the case. Pleased we have a last got local lad Toll, I think he will do well once he has adapted to the step up. Nice to see Marriott back, although speaking to a colleague who is a Boston fan, said a while ago that Marriott lacked pace, so not expecting too much. JR will need time to get the team how he wants it, but I’m sure he will, a little bit if patience is going to be needed from the supporters.

Impressive signing in Lambert.  Always rated him.  Think he will do a decent job for us.

Will be interesting to see who will be our main pairing up top.  Both Toll and Marriot are ‘fox in the box’ type finishers. .  So will they he paired together or one or the other with Gold ?

I don’t think we will be short on entertainment next season. Mind has to be better than some of the stagnant  dross served up last season.

Has last season best NLN Manager been snapped up yet ?
