The Football Governance Bill receives Royal Assent.

On July 21, the Football Governance Bill received Royal Assent, meaning that it is no longer a Bill, but an Act that is enshrined into law.

This outcome has been years in the making, and we're overjoyed. Clubs all over the country need change, and this Act gives us a chance to ensure that our game is once again, fair for all. I'd like to say a special thank you to Lisa Nandy MP, Stephanie Peacock MP, Dame Tracy Crouch, and of course, our volunteers and staff who all worked tirelessly to make this a reality. Without their work, none of this would be possible.
