I was chatting at the Stamford game last night about away games and which was the furthest (distance or time). South Shields was the answer from most, but I thought Merthyr would have been further.

So today I've compiled a list of all our away games this season with postcodes of the grounds, time and distance - of course these times and distances can be different depending on traffic or getting diverted for roadworks / accidents or stopping for food etc.

Spare a thought for both Gateshead and Truro. What a journey that is for both.  Be interesting to see how many turn up at Gateshead for that one. 900 mile round  trip.
What if the Hokey Cokey really is what it's all about ?

Thanks Admin - I hadn't found that link. If I had I wouldn't have posted this info.

You won't see any action at Scarborough this season.
They are sharing with Bridlington Town – YO16 7LN - saving just a bit of mileage and time!
Still movable goalposts though, albeit grass and not 3G.

What's the story with the ground at Scarborough ? Not another Farsley  job is it ?

"Scarborough Athletic FC is facing a problem with their football pitch at Scarborough Sports Village, the FlamingoLand Stadium. A recent survey revealed significant structural issues with the 3G pitch, including a defective drainage system, requiring a full resurfacing project. This is despite the pitch having been initially installed in 2017,"  Google. Other search engines are available.
