They came here for extra money and to play in front of a crowd , 500 instead of 50 and a dog . We were big fish in a little pond at that time . Cully came in, introduced discipline and Professionalism. He did well, but in the end threw his toys out of the pram, blaming the pitch etc, giving feisty interviews or not giving interviews at all. Personally I hope we give someone else a chance. Whoever that may be .

I thinks Setch's budget was probably big for the level we came back at, but doubt very much it was increased sufficiently in line as we progressed through the leagues.

I must admit that Cully's dislike of interviews was very disappointing. It's an important part of Club and Supporter engagement. What was funny though, was some of the Club officials excuses/reasons given for his reluctance to be interviewed.

:laughcry:

The pitch didn't really support the kind of football he wanted to play, and I can't blame him for complaining about it (or maybe he should have suffered in silence  :dontknow: ).

The amount of times we were told they were doing this, or doing that to the pitch but it was so obvious to most that the bare minimum had actually been done.

Another talent missed.

Whoever gets the job whether it be a past manager or someone new the important thing is to support them.
Perhaps a lunatic was simply a minority of one.
