Paul Caddis took over King's Lynn Town with one clear mission: survival. He achieved that, even if the style of football wasn't always enjoyable to watch. Whatever people's opinions were at the time, he deserves credit for keeping us in the league.

I'm an occasional volunteer at The Walks, and I have to say that, from everything I've seen and heard, the manager has turned the football club on its head. Everyone I've spoken to describes him as approachable, honest, and a genuinely top young man. He's ruthless when he needs to be and has a dry sense of humour, but, more importantly, he's someone the players clearly hold in the highest regard. They understand what he's trying to build despite the limited resources available. As Michael Clunan confirmed at the Fans' Forum, TSI are losing a lot of money per season, so the financial challenges are real.

This group of players and staff deserve tremendous credit for changing the atmosphere around the club and the town. For Caddis to lead that turnaround after some of the abuse he received towards the end of last season says a lot about his character, resilience, and belief in what he's trying to achieve.

I'll be right behind him and the players this season. The last two home games have been genuinely enjoyable, and while the hard work really starts next week, for the first
time in a long time I'm genuinely looking forward to watching football at The Walks again.

STEVE 1980, What a great post, informative and positive.
I too agree that Caddy deserves credit, and I would say that his character was fine tuned in Glasgow.
Really hoping that our home form is better this season.

Good post that Steve.  Caddis inherited a mess last season after having 3 Managers before he took the job.  Certainly was a first season to forget for the new regime.

I didn't realise that Jo is putting in 500k each season to cover the loses.  What happens when he thinks enough is enough ?  A lot of bigger Clubs than us are not running with a full time squad at this level.

Anyway first game of the season next Saturday, which I'm very much looking forward too.  A chance for PC to make a statement with a team that is his.

Just hope he has developed a team able to turn the oppositions tactic of bombing long balls into our defence and causing mayhem into something positive for us.
