Quote from: Mallard on January 16, 2026, 01:02:27 PMWe could do with a Gashy type up top. Or even the man himselfGash 139 appearances 40 goals a goal every 3.4 games Gold 99 appearances 35 goals a goal every 2.8 games. Food for thought..
Quote from: MARCUS ROSE on January 02, 2026, 04:54:34 PMPaying bills on time or paying players? What would people preferBoth in a ideal world. The two go hand in hand . Without players, you don't have a team . The trust model is fantastic in a hot bed of football ie the north west and north east . Unfortunately in Norfolk it will never work . I'm not interested in KL playing 2 steps below . Like most on here I'll be gone in 20 years so I say let's live for the moment.
Quote from: Mallard on December 07, 2025, 12:37:55 PMThanks for tidying that up Tony.I think it all depends on an individual's circumstances . I work with people who rely on the money to support their family and others who work for holidays weekends away etc
One of the things I don't get is the striker situation. Ok we can't push the young ones to hard so need experience mixed in with them. Gyasi ticks that box and scores goals yet we have farmed in off to Kiddie. This one has never been explained away by the Club or even been asked about in any interview.
Think the Club needs to let the fans in on this big mystery.
One other little point from the Forum the other night. Cully said basically we can't afford to turn part time players into full time as the cost is very prohibitive. If you take a player like Clunan then are his days numbered at the Club as it must have been very expensive to lure him away from his profession.
BTW Keith Rudd taught me at Gaywood Park . Top man
