Marriott although of course not at his peak adds so much to the game with his hold up play. movement off the ball and fantastic awareness. Any forward learning the game should just watch him

A player who doesn't seem to hang about too long for any team - not a great loss I think

Looks photo looks very AI to me. Too many convincing images around - we will soon not be able what to believe

I take it Wilson was injured? Didn't he have an injury to the head against Worksop? I hope he can be back against Buxton if not the must win against Oxford. I can only take heart from the better performances against Alfreton before the 'goal', Southport, Radcliffe and Worksop again before their goal. Somehow we gotta score first!

I thought we looked bright for most of the game leading up to the clear goal that we 'scored', the defenders standing foot is behind the line and his kicking foot is even further behind as he kicks the ball away. Fine margins and all that but a mighty cock up by the referee. 1-0 up and the fight is on - then went 1-0 down and you could just see the confidence drain.

We know we need help in two or three positions but it is becoming obvious the cavalry is not arriving. A planned exit to level 3 part time football?

Marriott sent off at the end?

i will still be there on Tuesday

I see their top scorer, Ricardo Rees has just joined Forest Green Rovers - a massive task for the Linnets still on an artificial surface

General Discussion / Re: Macclesfield (H) - take 2

Just heard the tragic news that Ethan Mcleod who played for Macclesfield at King's Lynn lost his life in a car crash last night on his way home from playing at Bedford - aged 21

That was a far better battling performance last night and enormously frustrating we didn't get the 3 points. Its a hard job being a referee but he did miss a few things last night including the Macclesfield player pushing Wilson out of position from the exact place they scored, as Angle said. Bazza got boooked for his protests

Desperately needed some fresh legs out there as the oxygen tank was empty at the end

Thanks for the write up, it is always good to know from someone who was there. The decent commentary last night reflected that but I just couldn't kick that ball in the net

a lot of the goals we have let in the past 3 home games have been soft!

Attendance was announced at over 1100 - some hope to be had in the first half and it was nice to see Marriott starting and provided some nice link up play and had one half chance. Couldn't believe that Radcliffe would be so passive as they were in the first 60 minutes. They then pulled the trigger twice and you just felt there was no way back again

Lets hope Monday brings some clarity and purpose and starts to get us back on track after the alleged antics of Rowe blew us well off course

General Discussion / Re: Club charged by FA.

My heart sank when the game was stopped against Telford. Surely if these things are alleged and proved it has to be a lifetime ban - it takes a huge amount of effort to run a football club like Lynn with lots of volunteers and these incidents just kick everybody involved with King's Lynn. People cannot just say what they want in a public facility like a football club
