Toll played c60 minutes on Saturday. His first game back since being injured at the start of the season.

He ran his contract down. Charlton did not pay a fee.

My season ticket cost £249, that works out at just £10.82 for each league game. Everything is looking so much better than last year with a much more appealing style of football. Looking forward to the start of the season.

You cannot but admire how our new manager has gone about restructuring the squad. Being fast out of the blocks is something of an understatement! But what a contrast with off field activities and before that comment is jumped on from certain quarters, i am not talking about the financial intricacies and detail but as i posted previously, is it unreasonable to ask who is running the club day to day: who is our proactive manager reporting to, who is responsible for ticket pricing policy etc?

When Colin Fuller posted that the official club website had confirmed Bal as CEO, with no mention of Mr Cleeve (Colin subsequently posted that the page in question had been taken down and that is still the case) i thought i would seize the moment and write to our new CEO, congratulating him and confirming that Mr Cleeve's exit would encourage me to return as a paying supporter, with one proviso: that more appreciation might be shown to older supporters by way of a more competitive  concession ticket price, which had not been the case when Mr Cleeve ran things. I made a constructive suggestion for which i take no credit; Coastal Linnet had suggested this in an earlier forum post: A book of ten flexible competitively priced concessionary tickets. I would most certainly purchase one as would i believe a number of others whose attendance at games is governed by such as health and weather.

Disappointingly but unsurprisingly, i have  not had a response.

It would be good, even logical to know the current state of play regarding such as ownership, Mr Cleeve's current and future situation and fan involvement via The Trust. Just an interim update would be welcome.

365 i think you either misread or misunderstood my earlier message. I am not questioning the 'value' of season tickets.

The new pricing structure seems to indicate that the club still take the older generation, many of whom have been loyal supporters since the 1950's, for granted.

This means that the concession price of admission on an individual match basis if purchased online will be £1 less than last season but will still result in paying a significant premium compared with the majority of other teams in the NLN? Maybe i am in a minority but it suits my situation, due to a combination of age and health issues, to attend games as and when i am able, which will probably result in me making that decision a day or two ahead of the game.

I think the Club maybe missed a trick by not having a Nail Bar and a Car Wash under the stand and open on Match days.

Supporters could have used these while eating their plant based Ice Creams.

A successful football club is the sum of many parts, not just what happens on the pitch. In fact sustained 'success' more often than not is driven by what happens behind the scenes.

Things seem to becoming together on the pitch but i am disappointed at the lack of clarity regarding off field activities subsequent to the announcement following the meeting with The Trust. Perhaps i should not be surprised but maybe i have missed something as i am not a regular user of social media. My main source of information is this forum and the KLTFC website. By way of example, i have not seen a formal announcement of Bal's involvement. It has just been gossip, conjecture and rumour from those who appear to have access to inside information. No official club statement???

You may well prove to be correct in your assessment of Fletcher's all round ability? However the fact that natural goal scorers at every level are 'gold dust', added to which he has scored regularly as he has progressed up the pyramid: this season 30 so far at step 4 for the first time, is it not possible that at the age of 21 with the right coaching that he might progress further?"

These were my comments a while ago in response to Paul47, who had expressed his opinion that Fletcher might not make the grade at this level. I still subscribe to the view that with the right level of coaching support and an attacking style of play that will create opportunities, Fletcher will score goals but we must be realistic in our expectation as he adjusts to playing two levels higher. Thus far he has met every challenge presented, so let's hope that he will eventually walk in the footsteps of Jack Defty, becoming a local hero, as would have Joe Taylor had he been given the opportunity before he moved on.

For the first time in quite a while i am considering once again becoming a paying supporter, just as long as Mr Cleeve has no day to day involvement in running off field activities and that admission prices are reasonable.
